… was an exhibition at Objekt klein a, whose works and texts were shown on the dance floors of the Dresden club. The ravers could put the motifs – printed on postcards – in their pockets and take them home later.
Where we will find a continuation of the exhibition that started in 2018-2019 has already been decided: at the boxes on the left. Only when – that is still unclear.
Using G (GHB/GBL) poses particular risks and challenges: It is necessary that we discuss it more and more openly! This text introduces a series of articles about G. By doing so, we intend to contribute to minimising the harm associated with its use and helping to prevent overdoses – and thus G emergencies. We want to provide knowledge to users and (non-consuming) relatives/friends* and give space to the perspectives of everybody. The social dimensions of G-consumption should also be discussed.Continue reading GHB/GBL substance information
While HIV cases surge, PrEP implementation is far from being a fact. How do we put us on the fast track? – An open letter. Continue reading HOW MUCH LONGER DO WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR PrEP IN COLOMBIA?
A conversation with Pvssy divx, Honey Vergony and Ixjona_tamara, who arrived in Berlin in July after being locked for months in Madrid due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As members of the House of TUPAMARAS they are engaged in dancing, choreographing, managing and animating the “Balls”. Besides this project they also perform solo as contemporary dancers.
man*Check, The Pink Post & LoveLazers speak with them about lockdown in Madrid, sexdates and new experiences of being high in the gay queer scenes. Continue reading WHO RISKS LIFE FOR A GOOD FLIP
Well, then let’s talk about us: All about being horny and high, about chemsex and love, party and play. The Mephisto Texts, an edition of user reports, all collected by Love Lazers.Continue reading MEPHISTO, I’M FUCKING SOOO HIGH!
Alejandro from The Pink Post in conversation with Falk from Love Lazers about PrEP and the possibility of taking it daily or on demand. Who is PrEP for? Where do fears of getting HIV come from, even though being undetectable is completely safe? What is the point of view of people with HIV throughout the discussion? Can I hide my immune status in gay cruising apps (if I am asked)? And what happens if there is no agreement on condom/PrEP use during sex? Continue reading Stigma in The Times of PrEP
How well do condoms protect? And do we even need them anymore? – Information and ideas to think about the use of condoms in the age of New Safer Sex
The statutory health insurance funds in the Federal Republic of Germany will pay for the medically prescribed HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis – PrEP – from 1 September 2019.
A contribution by the “mikro-keller-crew”:
The poetry show, which was shown in the cellar at the Tuntenhaushoffest July 2018 in Berlin, is printed here again. In October 2018 the exhibition was shown at the Hot Club at the Koch-Areal in Zurich. The text of the exhibition with an introduction – and thoughts on why this exhibition has to be – is documented at the end.
The Before Pill
Previous preventative measures – such as condom use during sex – have not been sufficient to stop the spread of HIV and AIDS. PrEP is a new medical option for HIV/AIDS prevention in the form of a pill. People at a greater risk of HIV infection now have additional options for effectively protecting themselves. Continue reading READY FOR PrEP!
Good News – An activist pronouncement in nine points
This text is written for the legal situation in Colombia.
People who are HIV-positive are not infectious if their treatment is effective.
How safe is treatment as prevention? Does it count as safer sex? Is it more fun? How does this work in committed relationships? Does it also work for people who are dating multiple people or during darkroom encounters? What should we do if we are super horny, high, or in love? Continue reading VIRAL LOAD: UNDETECTABLE (COLOMBIA)
I met Mikrobio one night in New York, 8 years ago, we made an instant click and the next day we were traveling together outside of the city. During these years our friendship has become a place of support and collaboration. His work with nightlife in Berlin, techno and activism has motivated me. When he told me about Love Lazers, which is basically a group of friends, sexy nerds, lovers of nightlife, cruising, and activists for the right to have a free and healthy sexuality. I invited him to Colombia then, to do some activism together before the tremendous silence that exists regarding HIV in the country. Scary !!!
